This Pioneer PL-12D recordplayer is in excellent shape, was fully serviced in January 2025, and comes with a brand new belt, and an Akai PC90 (Audio Technica AT3711) stereo cartridge with an original Audio-Technica ATN3711 stylus in great condition.
The turntable looks wonderful with it’s dark brown, walnut finished base in perfect shape and balanced black-silver colours. The unit is fully functional. It has a brand new belt, new suspension foam, clean contacts and a freshly lubricated motor and spindle. It runs very stable and perfectly on speed in both 33 rpm and 45 rpm.
The original Pioneer PL-12D dustcover is in clear and smooth shape, and shows only light signs of handling. The cover solidly stands opened. Included are also the original counter-weight and additional weight, the original rubber matt with silver inner ring, and a 7” single adapter. A brand new belt is provided as well.
Provided is an an Akai PC90 (Audio Technica AT3711) stereo cartridge with an original Audio-Technica ATN3711 in tested great condition.
The turntable will be packaged very carefully - from a lot of experience in shipping vintage turntables - in a very strong box, secured by airbags and multiple layers of bubble foil and with all loose elements carefully secured, based on specific Pioneer PL-12D shipping recommendations.

The PL-12D motor drives the platter not via a system of trouble prone idlers but via the tried and true Pioneer belt transmission, shutting out motor vibrations and rumble while improving the overall signal to noise ratio.
To keep the stylus tracking perfectly along the centre of the record groove, a specially developed spring activated anti-skating device is provided - it's effect is to guarantee fine channel separation when playing stereo records.
