You should know that, as Catawiki also says, before giving negative feedback it is advisable to contact the seller to try to resolve the problem. You have purchased from me several times, so I assume you have many prints... No, this print is not more than 100 years old!! I clearly wrote that THE ORIGINAL IS from 1794 (so it would be 231 years...not 100) I didn't indicate the date of the reprint because I wasn't sure. This is CLEARLY a reprint of Sharaku, an original would cost several thousand euros (!!!) compared to a few tens of euros.

Considering the total opacity of the sheet & the big thickness it is doubtful that the print (not washi)is an original of the date indicated 1830. Seller confirmed he has no evidence of authenticity.

I'm sorry you are not satisfied. You wrote the last sentence wrong: I (and the Catawiki experts) have a different opinion and arguments than yours. As written in the email, almost all prints have no proof of authenticity (anyone can verify this, even on Catawiki); to have proof from an authorized certifier, a few hundred euros must be added to each lot. The print (as written and photographed in the lot) is supported by slightly thick paper perfectly glued to the original washi paper; you can see in the top right corner a leak (also described) where you can see the whole thing. You proposed a solution and I accepted the dialogue... I'm still waiting for a response. I didn't have to wait for feedback though!!!
