Christian Dior exquisite brooch Germany 1962.
This is a really fabulous example of mid-century design in the form of a brooch from Dior and was designed at the beginning of Marc Bohan's reign as artistic director at the fashion house. The blue stones vary in shape and pattern with some displaying a white marble effect. All have been prong set in the gold plated frame.
Measurement approx 5 cm.
Please look carefully at all photo's, they are a part of the description! Note one simulated pearl is peeled of.

He used only the most talented and reputable companies to manufacture his jewellery designs. You'll see pieces for Dior by Kramer, Mitchel Maer, and Grosse.
