The offered bottle is part of a limited edition of 389 pieces, which were exclusively available at the company headquarters, making it a valuable investment and collector's item. It contains a blend of Jamaican rums aged at least 18 years, matured for 17 years in the tropics and an additional year in France in former Cognac casks.

The first release of the series *The Collector* aims to replicate the flavor profiles of some popular collector’s rums. And it succeeds: the rums in the composition come from the Long Pond Distillery, which also provided the chemical data for the contents.

The rums were distilled in 1996 and 2000, partly in a John Dore pot still (batch distillation) and partly in a Blair column still (continuous distillation). Before distillation, the molasses underwent three weeks of fermentation. This information is more significant than it may initially seem: in alcohol production, longer production steps often result in more interesting final outcomes.

Additional parameters: The ester content (responsible for aroma and flavor) is 237 grams, the volatile substance content is 775 grams, and no sugar has been added.

The bottle comes in an impressive red box bearing the dedication *In Honor of Steve Remsberg*. (Steve Remsberg owns a rum collection of about 12,000 bottles. He was involved in the conception of the Center for the Study and Preservation of Authentic Brands, founded in 2017 by Maison Ferrand at Château de Roissac.)

Bottle no. 331 of 389.

It will be sent precisely and securely packaged via courier with insurance.

Shipping is possible to EU countries.
