Rare edition Deluxe of Higa Taikan , a complete and prestigious work by Junji Yoshizuki ( famous editor) He brings together great painters & engravers specialists of Shunga Art ( Erotic painting ) Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849), Isoda Koryusai ( 1735-1790), Toyokuni III ( 1769-1825) or Utagawa Kunisada ( 1784-1864) , Also the 20th first plates ( Meiji Era) by anonymous painters, Each plate is 30,5 x 22,5 cm, EX to NM , very few manipulated. Each is numbered at the bottom from 1 to 60, also numbered at the back with commentaries of the work and the author. Also a complete booklet of 16 pages, with explications of Shunga art, the differents schools and the painters and engravers . All contained in a card slipcase, damaged on one cornber, another slightly worn, the 2 others good. The plates have been few manipulated, excellent.
