A wine made following the most ancient custom, that is, with a blend of grapes from different vineyards, grown in various crus of the company estate, with different characteristics of altitude, exposure and composition of the soil, which make them perfectly complementary. This choice allows us to produce a harmonious Barolo every year, characterized by an excellent taste balance and a rich aromatic complexity.
Barolo Ceretto wine is the fruit of the experience of one of the great Piedmontese wine families. The winery has been cultivating vineyards in the Langhe for almost a century and produces a range of high-quality labels. Always attentive to the environment, she manages a vast property divided into many plots, using organic and biodynamic agriculture. The grapes come from a careful selection of the best bunches, harvested in the cultivated plots in the municipal area of La Morra, Barolo and Serralunga. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with a long maceration on the skins and a delicate extraction. The refinement involves a period of one year in French oak tonneaux, one year in large oak barrels and finally a long period in the bottle before being put on sale.
