A very RARE and beautiful book written by H. G. Wells "Tales of Space and Time". First U.K. edition of this fantasy and science fiction collection of 3 short stores and 2 novellas from H. G. Wells: "The Crystal Egg," "The Star," "A Story of the Stone Age," "A Story of the Days to Come" and "The Man Who Could Work Miracles." The last story was the basis for the 1936 British film of the same title. Published in 1900 by Harper & Brothers. Externally wear around edges and corners, shelfwear- see photos. Lacking front free endpaper. Inside pristine clean condition!!! Rarity. Uncommon.
