RVF 95/100: “Very fine, full-bodied wine, with a supple texture on the palate. Fine ageing and fresh finish.”
LPV: “Ripe cherry on the nose, with a classy woodiness that doesn't cover the fruit, followed by notes of charcoal. The palate is full-bodied and fleshy, with superb silkiness. Integrated ageing. Great length on graphite. A bombshell to be awaited with serenity.
Bettane et Dessauve: “We're on a par here with the peaks of the Côte de Beaune, from village to grand cru.” Henri Boillot is one of Burgundy's finest winemakers. His estate was founded by his grandfather in 1885 in Volnay. It is located in the southern part of the Côte de Beaune. Henri Boillot joined his father Jean's estate in 1975, starting his apprenticeship and working his way up through the ranks. He was a forerunner of ultra-refined vineyards. Today, he works with his son Guillaume. This duo brings modernity and excellence to the ageing of white and red Burgundy wines. Domaine Boillot wines are acclaimed by connoisseurs.
