A lot of 38 beautiful agate talisman from the ancient Burmese, late Pyu culture.
Second Millennium AD or older .
In good condition. They been cleaned in a tumbler and repolished , so its surface is shiny and smotth , but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving and grindding. The holes are ancient,hand-made, irregular, but have been over drilled by modern techniques to make the pieces wearable when the ancient holes are obstructed. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased mid 90's in London by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market .
