Magnificent porcelain figurine group of “Bacchus on Goat” created by the famous artist Felix Zeh for Scheibe - Alsbach Porzellan Manufaktur Thuringia, in perfect condition. It depicts a darling Bacchus boy wearing a crown and belt of vine leafs and grapes, holding a golden wine goblet in the raised hand and a scepter in the other. He is riding on the back of a spotted goat in an obvious state of insecure equilibrium due to the euphoric drink. Hand painted in vivid hues, gilded and glazed. Among the supervising of Professor Möller, artists like Felix Zeh or Schrober were the most prolific manufactory’s modelers specialized in figures and historical scenes in Scheibe - Alsbach manufacture.
