"This man is a Berber from the desert. The Amazighs ("free men") are the indigenous population of NorthAfrican countries, in particular Morocco and Algeria and have always been there. I met this young man named Karim while driving the queue of his camels in the red dunes of Merzouga. I asked him if his life was so hard in such an inhospitable environment and he replied, after a sincere smile, that is the only one he knows and could not live differently."
