Antique "British "ALOOSA" Bellows" Fire Brigade Bellows Air Pump This antique foot pump comes from a fire station collection which has ended due to closure. The use is not entirely clear but it is possible that this bellows was originally used for fire fighting or diving. The footpump has a cast silk base and a brass air hose connection This heavy foot pump with leather lever bellows was made in the second half of the 19th century. This rare and unusual item is a fine example of innovative British craftsmanship and a rare piece for any collector.
