This is an antique occasional table. An Indian, solid teak carved coffee table with Elephant masks.
Striking craftsmanship with superb decorative appeal.
Solid teak stocks present deep caramel and russet hues of substantial finish, with bold carved decor. Circular top with blind fretwork border and circular band of foliate detail.
Fascinating carved medallion to centre depicting an elephant quartet of astonishing elephant mask legs with bone tusks and textured trunk finish. Each leg united by a stout stretcher rail with decorative engravings.
This is a superb antique occasional table, with a highly distinctive appearance. Sure to create a centrepiece for the lounge. Solid joints and constructioni, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
