Francisca Rosner, born in 1967, is an Amsterdam-based visual artist whose work spans photography, painting, and sculpture. Her interdisciplinary approach blends techniques from different mediums, creating layered, transcendental works that challenge viewers to engage with multiple perspectives. Known for her bold use of contrasts in color and form, Rosner explores themes of identity and perception.

Her education includes an MFA from the Academie voor Fotografie and a Bachelor’s degree from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, as well as studies at Cooper Union in New York. She has held numerous solo exhibitions, including at Galerie Ann’s Art in Groningen and Arti Gallery in Amsterdam, and has participated in prominent art fairs such as Art Amsterdam and the Affordable Art Fair.

Rosner has been involved in innovative projects like "Het Digitale Bos" in collaboration with the Stedelijk Museum. Her work has been featured in publications such as "Rooilijn" and is part of prestigious collections including Rijkswaterstaat and Oxxio. She has also received multiple grants, including from the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts and the Netherland America Foundation, solidifying her position as an influential figure in the art world.
