PH table lamp, model PH 3/2 Limited Edition 2018 designed by Poul Henningsen is manufactured by Louis.
To honor Poul Henningsen’s legacy, Louis Poulsen presents a limited edition of the PH 3/2 Table lamp. This version features Italian mouth-blown amber glass shades that enhance their organic form, paired with a brass frame inspired by a 1927 design. The lightly brushed brass develops a unique patina over time.
The amber tone and sandblasted matte underside create a warm ambiance and optimal light distribution. The light switch, engraved with Henningsen's initials, is derived from his 1927 lamps.
Each handcrafted glass shade ensures that every lamp is unique, highlighting craftsmanship. The shades provide soft, multidirectional illumination, enriching room lighting.
The gentle golden glow evokes candlelight, an experience Henningsen sought to recreate. The compact PH 3/2 Table lamp is perfect as a side table lamp, window lamp, bedside light, or desktop task lamp.
The lamp was originally only produced for two years in the period 1927-1929, then taken out of production, probably due to stability problems with the lamp head. Poul Henningsen put the finishing touches on the table lamp in February 1927.
