The recorder has been fully serviced with necessary parts replaced. The sound quality is excellent, the recorder has been calibrated for Maxell UD-XL (special) and LPR35 (normal) tape. A 1964 SONY demonstration recording is also included on a smaller reel : pure vintage nostalgia with sounds of cars, boats, trains, airplanes and big band orchestra's playing jazz classics.
