Signature: Painting is handsigned verso by pencil. There is an old stanp on the framer.

Condition: Condition is good vintage., no any visible damage, everything is shown on the photos. Frame has some sireous losts, so the shipping cost is given without it.

Technique: oil on canvas in original framer.

Size with frame is 34 x 47 cm
Image size is 26 x 41 cm

Artist: Louis Montégut (1855-1906) French portratist and illustrator in the magazine La Chronique Parisienn. In 1883, the artist made a portrait of his cousin, Alphonse Daudet, a French writer and playwright, depicted in his study, in the company of his wife, Julia Allard. This painting is now exposing at the Musée Carnavalet.

Thank you for feedback. Item was returned to me, because the buyer didn't accept it. Whild returning it was damaged. MONEY WERE REFUNDED TO BUYER!!!!!! The buyer is very rude and impolite in letters! Hope never see again on my auctions!

Despite refunding the shipping of the item, the product was packed poorly and the shade was ruined beyond repair and cannot be replaced with something similar.

I think that it could be replaised by smth else. Shade is not unique. Questio: What's the reason to refund, if at the end you receive a negative feedback? I refund and you said that "it's honest". And now I have this... I'M REFUNDING IF SMTH HAPPENS DURING SHIPPING AND IT'S PROOVED!
