Very beautiful and as new six volumes set by E. M. Foster (1879 - 1970), published by The Folio Society in London. First Folio edition, first impression, 1996.

The books are virtually unopened, in mint, pristine condition without any faults at view. Unread, no wear to the cover and no wear to pages.

They are all printed on Hamilton Wove paper. All illustrated with a total of 38 original lithographs in made specifically for this Folio Society edition by Glynn Boyd Harte. All six volumes completely maintain the very high standard levels of Folio Society publications.

The six novels are:

"A Passage to India" - 292 pages, 9 lithographs
"Howards End" - 323 pages, 7 lithographs
"A Room with a View" - 227 pages, 7 lithographs
"Maurice" - 213 pages, 5 lithographs
"Where Angels Fear to Tread" - 155 pages 5 lithographs
"The Longest Journey" - 274 pages, 5 lithographs

All six complete matching set, bound in brown cloth with contrasting striped paper covered boards and gilt titles to spines, specially designed for the Folio Society. Green slipcase with monochromatic illustrations. Very good condition, as new. Minimal wear due to handling.

Total dimensions of set - height: 25 cm, length: 17.5 cm, width: 17 cm.
