Paddy - Old Irish Whiskey - b. Années 1970 - 0.7 L
Paddy Old Irish Whisky is a single pot still whiskey from Cork Distilleries Co. The whiskey is sourced from the Old Midleton Distillery, which ceased production in 1975. This Paddy Old Irish Whisky was bottled in the first half of the 1970s for the German market. Borco-Marken-Import located in Hamburg, Germany was the importer.
This is probably one of the first Paddy imports to Germany, later versions have the barcode on the back label.
This bottle is found in the basement of a German house. Looks like it was abandoned for a long time. Although bottle is in good condition, but under a layer of dust. Filling level is good, cap and top label are in good condition. Left side of the front label is affected by the ravages of time as you can see on the pictures. Back side label also affected but less worse.
72 can be read on the bottom of the bottle, and as I can find on the world wide Web, 1972 is the correct year of import of this style of bottle to Germany.
Irish history in an old bottle, now within reach, who wouldn't want something like that in their collection?
