"Julio Faustino Martínez always had the dream of creating a winery built among vineyards, thus transferring the concept of a château to the land of Rioja. In 1990, that dream came true.
It is the first winery designed by the architect Aurelio Ibarrondo. A unique project where the beauty of architectural forms is combined with the best technical conditions for the correct production and aging of wine.
Located in a privileged environment, with views of Laguardia and the mountains, the winery forms a majestic architectural space perfectly integrated into nature.
The Campillo brand is made up of the following wines: Finca Cuesta Clara, Gran Reserva, Reserva Especial, Reserva Selecta, Crianza, Tinto Joven, Rosé and White fermented in barrels. The aging of these wines is carried out in fine-grained American oak barrels and French Tronçais or Allier oak barrels.
Belonging to the Faustino Group in the DOCa Rioja, Bodegas Campillo shares the family character and international prestige of the rest of the group's wineries."
