Lovely sterling silver Victorian miniature box in the form of a round tripod table raised on 3 cabriole legs and gold-washed inside. Flat hinged lid is embossed with a Romantic pastoral scene depicting a shepherdess with her sheep being entertained by a flute player in a charming country setting. The sides of the box are embossed with delicate scrolls.
Perfect size to be used as a pillbox or a small table snuffbox.
