Very nice and honest Dutch Army surrender memorial plaque produced in 1940 and mentioned in detail in the literature, see attached photo. A great medal / plaque, 100% original. It is in very nice condition for its age, It was made because of the capitulation of the Netherlands after the German invasion in May 1940. It contains the image of General H.G. Winkelman, the Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Navy. On the left of the plaque you can see a landscape with an artillery piece. On the right side three aircraft in the air, with a warship below in the water.
