The story about Poul Henningsen
Poul Henningsen, (1894-1967) often abbreviated to PH, was a Danish writer, architect and designer known for his iconic lighting designs. He revolutionized lighting with his innovative use of layered shades to distribute light evenly and reduce glare, creating softer, more comfortable lighting. His designs, such as the PH Koglen and the PH5 and PH4 pendant, remain highly regarded and influential in the world of lighting design. In addition, Henningsen was a prominent cultural figure in Denmark, known for his wit, social commentary and contribution to literature and journalism.
