A master craftsman has intricately carved a marine motif of a bale of turtles into this large Swordfish Tusk. The carving is of very high quality and has a lot of detail. Could be seen as a type of scrimshaw. Scrimshaw is the name given to engravings and carvings done in bone or ivory.

Mooi stuk. Alleen staat die niet stabiel op de standaard. Hij valt om. Dit had ik ook al bij een eerder object van jullie. Erg leuk voor op de foto, maar niet praktisch die standaardjes.
