Égypte ancienne Bague Oudjat en faïence - 1.1 cm

Superb Egyptian ring in deep blue faience representing an Udjat. From the New Kingdom Period (1539-1077 B.C). The ring has been repaired with genuine parts.
In Egypt, it has its origin in the so-called ‘Eye of Horus’, or Udyat, which means ‘the one who is complete’. It protected, purified and healed. It symbolised the sun and embodied order, the perfect state.
The Eye of Horus is one of the oldest Egyptian amulets. It represents strength, health, security, life and vigour.

Acquired from a French private collection, R.P in the 70's.

The taxes will be added to the invoice, at the buyer's expense. These export fees are fixed on the final auction price and the tax rate is not applied directly on the total value of the item to be exported, but rather the different percentages by sections are applied to it:
Up to 6,000 euros: 5%. / From 6.001 to 60.000 euros: 10 %.
