Leica IIIb body - rare (military) engravings - 1938 - Summar 2/50 lens - working Appareil photo télémétrique (Sans Prix de Réserve)

Because my cameras and lenses are collectors items to me and I never used them with a film, I mark the cameras as “not tested” and sell them as collectors items.
However, functions such as shutter, rangefinder, light meter, mirror, etc. are checked for operation (not for accuracy) and lenses are judged by eye.
From the description and test results can often be concluded whether the object could function properly, but I cannot give any guarantee on this.

DESCRIPTION
This Leica IIIb is produced in 1938 and has some interesting engravings. The "Reichssicherheitshauptamt" was an organization under Himmler and the stated duty was to fight all "enemies of the Reich" inside and outside the borders of Nazi Germany. The engravings are on the top plate and lens, but I can't verify their authenticity. So I am selling this Leica with no reserve and without the garantuee, that the engravings are real. Nevertheless it is a very nice example for your (military) Leica collection.
The camera is cosmetically and technically in good condition.
