This is a set of Imperial Japanese Navy officers' formal Cap & Shoulder Strap.
Very rare and in excellent condition.
During the war in Japan, these were worn during ceremonies and gatherings, not in places of battle.

The materials used for each of these items are high quality and the sewing and construction is very careful. It's amazing.
Many gilt moldings are prone to tangling and staining, but this one is very well preserved. It is wonderful.

The symbol of the Navy, the anchor and cherry blossom, are designed in a large, three-dimensional design. It is very detailed and beautifully preserved.The name of the owner of this shoulder title, "永田 Nagata," appears on the reverse side.

The leather of the key part is torn. The key is broken, and this is the mark of forcible opening.
The address "東京市 Tokyo City" identifies the age of this item. "東京市 Tokyo City" was from 1889 to 1943, so it is possible to determine that these items are from that time period.
The metal name plate of the owner, "永田 Nagata," is hammered into the box, giving it a luxurious look.
