Description Pre-Columbian America, La Tolita, approx. 4th cent. The jaguar is showing its teeth and has strong paws with extended claws and a thick tail. The mouth of the vessel is on top of the animal’s head. Large button-eyes, a wide and bulged mouth with hairs on the sides. Firing holes on the bottom of each foot and the tail. Datation TL-test certificate no. 02071014, dated October 2014, by the Kotalla laboratory in Germany was made and as been request on copy The jaguar is showing its teeth and has strong paws with extended claws and a thick tail. Condition: Good, age-related condition. Small restorations to both ears Provenance: Formerly in the collection of Heinz Walter in Munich purchased at the end of 1960. After purchased in auction 24 march 2019.
