In this project Ester Cardella wants to be as free as possible from limits and patterns, aiming at the sensuality of women and their dominant figure. One of the themes covered is the BDSM world but there is also no shortage of vampire and skeleton figures. The woman plays on herself, she is free, she is shrewd, she is her own master. Ester Cardella tells stories where texts and plots are not important, the ones who speak and tell are the drawings themselves. Portfolio of varied representations of female bodies: models that have always been a source of inspiration for the great masterpieces of art in which female figures were a symbol of fertility and prosperity. The women represented are always strong and independent. The objective of these representations is to give a message of self-determination to break down the taboos surrounding women and the expression of sexuality itself. Women are protagonists of themselves and as such, they have the right to be able to express themselves freely, to show themselves as they wish, to be able to live their sexuality as they see fit.
