A Magna Graecia terracotta kylix without a foot, covered with a black lustre. The large, shallow body rests on a low, concave foot. Two strap handles protrude from the body. The bottom is decorated with a floral decoration of four small leaves.

A kylix was a type of vessel, similar to a goblet or chalice, with two handles so that it could be held with both hands. These vessels were usually intended for Greek festivities and were therefore used for drinking wine.
