Large folio sized 18th century copper engraving with an interesting and detailed map of France, divided in departements, dated year 7 (1798).
Made orignally by Robert de Vaugondy and published in this edition in Paris by Delamarche in 1798.
Reasonable-good condition. Light water stain in the upper area, with minimal impact on the image. Some age browning in the central fold. Otherwise very good. Thick, strong paper with wide margins. Clear print and beautiful original hand coloring.
