2-3 dust particles inside, but I appreciate that it looks excellent

The Trinovid 10×25 BC was produced in two successive, almost identical versions from 1983 until 2000. In the earlier years labelled “Leitz” (which was then the company name) and from 1986 “Leica” – meaning LEItz CAmera, later “Leica”; the sample presented here is from the early 1980s, still without phase coating, which becomes painfully obvious when using the binocular: sharpness and contrast are clearly less than great, and the image overall is rather dull. The later editions with phase coating, though, must have been quite useful pocket binoculars for theater and sports. But even this earlier model represents true Leica qualities with excellent finish, impeccable mechanics and great design.
