First edition of this uncommon two volume work of sermons.
Half leather bindings. Simple spine with gilt titles, orange buckram boards. The covers and labels are somewhat rubbed and darkened. The front board of volume one is detached from the block - but still present.
These works originally from the library of the National Club of London (This is a Christian society that is aligned with the Carlton club). A couple of discreet library marks and attractive library ex libris to the inside boards.
The book block is clean and tidy throughout.
