Leonardo Escoda (1956-2022) - Olivella

Leonardo Escoda has died in 2022 at the age of 66. Leonardo Escoda, is famous for his artistic creation in Tortosa and the Ebre, a task that he combined with that of professor and director of the Escola d'Art EADTortosa at different times. Escoda had a degree in Fine Arts specializing in Painting, a degree in Engraving and Printing Techniques and a degree in Conservation and Movable Cultural Assets from the University of Barcelona.

Certainly, Escoda was a well-known artist in the city of Tortosa and throughout the Terres de l'Ebre. But, in addition to his work as a painter, Escoda also stood out for his work as a professor and director of the Escola d'Art de la Diputació de Tarragona in the capital of Baix Ebre. Without a doubt, Leonardo, son of the painter Roberto Escoda, also leaves a great memory for his prolific artistic work and for his tireless dedication to cultural activism.
