Hutschenreuther - Vase (2) - 5103 - Biscuit de porcelaine - Duo de H 31 cm + H 23 cm
A duo of 30cm tall and 20cm tall vases from the renowned manufacturer Hutschenreuther.
Both bisque porcelain vases have the same leaf pattern decoration.
Stunning shape & form, inside glazed, outside matte.
Both vases are in a very good original vintage condition, no cracks or hairlines, besides reasonable wear consistent with age and usage as decorative objects.
This sculptural bisque porcelain vase duo from the 1960s or 1970s is a stunning piece of German craftsmanship. The matte relief finish adds depth and texture to its surface, making it a true work of art. Manufactured and stamped by Lorenz Hutschenreuther, a renowned German porcelain manufacturer, this vase carries a rich history of quality craftsmanship.
Lorenz Hutschenreuther Porzellan, a well-respected name in the porcelain industry, further confirms the quality and value of this piece.
The vase is made from bisque porcelain, a type of unglazed porcelain known for its delicate appearance and soft matte finish. This material choice adds to its vintage charm and aesthetic appeal. The 1960s/1970s era in which it was created was marked by various design movements, including Op Art, which aimed to create visual illusions through patterns and geometric shapes. This vase incorporates elements of Op Art, making it not only a functional vase but also a piece of art that can spark conversations and admiration.
The vase duo is in very good vintage condition with some traces of time and usage, which is expected for a piece of its age.
