Very beautiful map by Petrus Bertius of the Greek island of Corfu, directed with the North towards the right.
Map originally made by Barend Langenes and published by J. Hondius in Amsterdam in 1618 in a French edition of ´Géographie raccourcie par Pierre BERTIUS´ with text from Petrus Bertius.
Images 9,5 x 13,5cm on pages of 12,5 x 19,5cm
Very good condition. Original hand coloring (very rare, only a few copies were sold with hand coloring). Never folded. Reverse side text in French.
