An interesting Jazz guitar. Well-built instrument considering the overall finish on the inside and outside. Made in Korea for JL music in Great Britain - Antoria is harder to get on the mainland. Ibanez had the guitars come from various locations, initially from Japan and in the late 1980s Korea, which then became China. Considering the age, the inevitable signs of wear and some replacements. Many of these Antoria guitars have been upgraded with Gibson pickups with a surprising sound result. I will list the features: - Scale is 645 mm (25.4 inches) - Frets in good condition. Straight neck - New pots, buttons and switch - Gotoh machine heads Work well - Nice neck profile Width top nut: 44 mm - Truss rod plate has been replaced - Output: Plug and plate replaced. - Not original tailpiece. - Pickups seem to be the same. - Pickguard is missing. - Crack in plastic veneer layer head. Nothing serious. Bridge is a recent replacement. The label states: Type H794. Quality instrument made for JL Music and the “Solid Top”, although I could not determine that, it is on the label. Already a nice jazzy sound, but with really good pickups you can easily battle with an ES 175. Convince yourself by listening to sound samples on YouTube. Can still last for years, and perhaps a lifetime! No fretwear. Late 1980s instrument. 70's Japanese Ibanez and Antoria were exactly the same guitars. They were built at Fujigen in Matsumotu and re- branded as Ibanez for Hoshino Gakki and Antoria for JT Coppock. Both companies shifted production to Korea in the 80's at which point the designs started to diverge.
