On offer is a good Chinese soapstone chop with a fine carved foo lion on top, and with an artist poem at one side. This is a fine chop; it takes a great amount of work to carve the characters out of the stone. The appearance and color is very similar to Shoushan stone. Better than the average piece. Soft touch in the hand. Very suitable as an addition to the collection or to present as a gift! Comes with a nice gift box.
Provenance: acquired from inland China.
Date: End of 20th Century.
Condition: In fine condition, no damage, light traces of use only.
Size: measures about 8 cm in height and about 3,2 cm width. Weighing about 157 gram!
Will be packed very well and shipped with registered track/trace, with insurance. Combined shipping possible, we return postage costs.
