An excellent large antique Chinese porcelain sculpture of Damo (also know as Bodhi Dharma) standing on a well sculpted branch with leafs on waves with a long robe and nicely detailed facial hair. In his right hand he is holding his shoe. On the base a classical decoration of waves. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty, late Kangxi period (ca. 1700-1720). Guaranteed original and of the stated period.
Height: 43,2 centimeter (!)
Condition: The object is in good condition. some normal small glaze flakes, imperfections and one damaged fingernail. Without any restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.

All the plates where clearly photographed and damaged. That's why you paid 10 euros per plate, although they are very interesting. Some had professional restorations, others not. The plate was already broken, just some glue that let loose probably during transport. The buyer doesn't want to find a solution and is not open to suggestions. We regret this. Also the shipping costs are much higher for a 5+ kilo package, so there is not much of a difference.
