The Dynaco SE-10 Equalizer is such a versatile product that we are tempted to think of it as the creative component.
We believe it may be helpful to provide you with a list of some of its uses.
Listening rooms seldom have excellent or even uniform acoustical properties. The judicious use of the Dynaco Equalizer can improve listening realism by compensating for excessive reflection or absorption of certain frequencies.
The SE-10 Equalizer can help make fine speaker systems extraordinary, by smoothing normal variations at crossover points and between drivers.
Although all discs use a standard RIAA playback characteristic curve to obtain a flat response, virtually every disc is also equalized during the recording session or when mixing down. This is most often accomplished by the choice of a microphone which possesses frequency shaping for a given instrument, or by actually altering the frequency spectrum. The SE-10 can be used to restore the disc to its natural sonic state

Frequency response: 10Hz to 35kHz
Signal to Noise Ratio: 85dB
Total harmonic distortion: 0.04%
Control Range: ± 12dB
Frequency Bands: 30, 60, 120, 240, 480, 960, 1.9K, 3.8K, 7.7K, 15KHz
Please note she is in excellent condition. I have de oxidised cleaned and lubricated all the sliders. They all work flawlessly. They do have a specific way to move them. Please see the detailed pictures as they form part of the sale of her usage which is very low.
These units do not come for sale often at all. Please note this. She has been run on the 200w output from my Dynaco integrated amplifier so please do not connect to 240w .
There is a video of her playing that can be sent. Also know that vintage electronic items are not guaranteed and will require ongoing technical care from qualified service technicians from time to time.
Please note that we will pack her with our custom double box and bubble wrap system and we pack for the safety of the item not for economy.
