Offered for auction is a beautiful Polaroid 1021 All Purpose Goggles set, complete with pouch and two of the lenses. it contains goggles with lenses, the goggles plus cloth carrying case. The goggles are made of very light foam rubber, with an elastic strap, lenses are of different colors, green lenses for very bright days, red lenses for night missions and lenses transparent. This type was introduced in 1943 and presumably made in that year, as they were replaced in 1944 by the M-1944 goggles. See attached example of PATTON wearing one!
. This would be a great addition to a US Tanker or pilot set-up!
