Bernardaud & Co. Limoges - Kahviastiasto 6:lle - Posliini

Coffee set of tea set for 6 persons by prestigious manufacture Bernardaud Limoges. Very much Art Deco with its shape typical of the period. All pieces have a bevelled design. White porcelain, gilt borders.

The set is made of :
- 1 lidded tea jug or coffee jug
- 1 lidded sugar bowl
- 1 milk pot
- 6 cups capacity 10/12cl
- 6 saucers with a polygonal design (12 sides)

Dimensions without handles and lids (L x P x H) :
- Tea / Coffee jug : 16 x 9 x 17cm
- Sugar bowl : 13 x 8 x 12cm
- Milk Pot : 9 x 6.5 x 11.5cm
- 6 Cups : diameter 10cm / height 4.5cm
- 6 Saucers : diameter 14cm

Condition (please see pictures, there are plenty of them) :
* Porcelain : a tiny 2mm chip on the jug in the zone around the lid and almost the exact same one on the sugar bowl (see the last pictures).
* Gilt border : Wears, sometimes very important, especially on the 3 serving pieces. Some areas where the gilt enamel is almost completely gone. Better preserved on the cups and saucers, despite some lacks (cups' handles and at the center of one saucer).
I presume a vast majority of people would have labelled it as in "good condition", I prefer to downgrade it to "fair" so there are only good surprises.

Circa 1930. Signed "B&Co Limoges" under all bases, Bernardaud's stamp at the time.

Bonus (not in the pictures) : 4 additional cups + 4 saucers, with more important wears to the gilt enamel, but that could still be useful to you if needed one day...
