A collection of antique seal boxes fashioned in two parts from Lignum Vitae wood to an impressively high degree of precision as the base and lid thread into each other perfectly, most include the seals, the collection includes:
A seal of the coat of arms of the Ministry of Education. The box diameter is 7cm.
A seal of an Elephant's head on a coronet. The seal is complete with the manufacturers label in the lid 'B. Warwick Engraver to the Royal Family'. The box diameter is 3.2cm, there is a very small chip to the rim of the lid.
A seal is of a Phoenix. The box diameter is 3cm.
An empty seal box 4cm in diameter.
A seal of a Lion above the letters AP in gothic script. The seal is complete with the paper base and the manufacturers label in the lid 'Saunders and Company'. The box diameter is 5cm, there is a crack in the lid.
A seal of a stag with paper base, 3.5cm in diameter.
A seal is of a recumbent hound atop the word 'Barney', presumably a family seal. The box diameter is 3cm.
