Kōdo88 is an experienced traditional artist with over 25 years of experience. His work combines classical Japanese techniques with advanced digital techniques, developed in collaboration with his team of in-house designers. His art is influenced by anime, manga, ukiyo-e, 1950s and 60s advertising, as well as video games, movie posters, and fantasy films. Trained by master artists in Sumi-e at Casa Japón in Barcelona, he has worked on movie poster and fantasy art projects in Los Angeles in the 90’s.

Kōdo88 manages a wide range of mixed media techniques, such as impasto painting, screen printing, woodblock printing, and engraving, combining them with advanced digital techniques created by his team of in-house designers. Additionally, he has worked on video game design projects in Barcelona, London, Paris, and Los Angeles, collaborating with American and Japanese experts in project management and conceptual design. This has expanded his creative approach and his ability to integrate elements from cinema and pop culture into his work.

Kōdo88's work has been exhibited in various international exhibitions, standing out in the retro-pop art scene with his unique style that combines traditional and digital techniques, creating a bridge between retro and contemporary.
