"Bold solid colors and playful geometric shapes underline the signature of contemporary French artist Antony Squizzato. His eye-catching work is a fusion of elements from Pop Art, Cubism, Bauhaus and Suprematism."
The first thing that strikes you when you meet Antony Squizzato is the timbre of his voice, an absolutely soft, elegant voice, a timbre that creates immediate confidence. A huge fan of modern art, he is also a wellspring of culture concerning all the currents of contemporary art. In this respect, Squizzato deliberately places himself in a current known as “New Constructivism”. His ultra-mastered, highly constructed painting is nonetheless a form of onirism; it is an allegory that does not speak its name. He took on major themes, such as “kissing”, and developed this theme ad infinitum, thus creating his allegories! However, Squizzato is not content to paint with acrylics, push him, and he ventures into lands in which the influence of American realist painting appears.
His work can be found in some of the world's finest collections.

C'est normal. Vous avez reçu une autre linogravure. Celle que vous avez acheté est toujours à mon atelier je viens de la trouver... c'est une erreur due à la précipitation. Je vais vous envoyer la bonne bien évidemment.

So sad to hear...will make a copy. Definitely will stop shipping glass panes it's getting broken too often unlike PVC...even with big protection.. Looks like they play baseball with parcels in some shipping companies :(

Bonjour, la peinture est conforme à mes attentes. Déçu par le cadre qui ne mets pas l’œuvre en valeur.

Désolé que le cadre ne vous convienne pas. Le fournisseur habituel de cadres ne fait plus de modèles carrés dans ce format là. Je me suis rabattu sur un cadre Nielsen en alu, avec une vitre en verre (alors que la plupart sont maintenant en Polyuréthane) Probablement la meilleure qualité de cadres que l'on trouve dans le commerce (excepté sur-mesure). J'imagine que c'est le fait qu'il n'y ait pas de passe-partout qui ne vous enchante pas... On peut toujours échanger avec un cadre 40X40 avec vitre pvc et passe partout...

Hi, Yes you're right I'm sorry about the delay. The parcel was sent yesterday. (I think catawiki did get the automatic tracking code) I had to wait a bit for this one because the ink used the for linocut part of the artwork was not dry enough to frame it without risking a damage. (this painting is a mix between acrylic paint, and a linocut using special ink..). I usually use hair dryers to get the paintings dried quicker, but it does not work with that linocut ink (a bit like oil paint..). Usually I get my linocuts ready to ship in a few days, (with a bit of sun and wind weather). But this series stayed too long "dry on touch" which is not enough for delivery.. I should have warned you i'm sorry.. I've chosen the same frame as the other. Hope you did get the first one in a good state and will like that one !
