Taylor is of course known for its acoustic guitars but not only! Indeed here is a superb electric with a beautiful walnut top!
The Solidbody Custom was Taylor's top-of-the-line electric and showcased their innovative approach to electric guitars. A heavily chambered Sapele body with a gorgeous walnut top features graceful contours and a slender profile, making it exceptionally comfortable to play. The sapele neck is paired with an ebony fingerboard and the carve is quintessential Taylor -slender, fast, and really comfortable. Plugged in, the Taylor Style 1 pickups deliver a crisp, articulate tone that reminded us a bit of a Gretsch crossed with a Fender - which is to say, there's a snappinessto single notes and great note separation when playing chords.
This guitar spent most of its life in the case.
