7 ornithological plates from various artists and origins (1804-1886)

Plates 1, 2 and 3 are unpainted copper engravings.
They can be dated 1804 and are taken from A History of the Earth and Animated Nature by Oliver Goldsmith.
The specific details are:
Plate 5: Pondicherry Eagle (Vol. III page 87)
Plate 6: Toucan, Huppoo, Cockatoo (Vol. III page 174)
Plate 7: Flamingo, Avoset (Vol. III, page 246)
The condition of these 3 plates (18x16 cm) is very good and they are stuck in a blue cardboard pass-partout.

Plates 4 and 5 are hand coloured copper engravings by Fr. Sturm (1829). Although signed and dated, the origin of the plates couldn’t be determined. The plates sit in a green cardboard passe-partout and are in very good condition.

Plate 6 features a kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) painted by Eliza Turck.
This chromolithograph (19x12.5 cm) was taken from Familiar Wild Birds by W. Swaysland (London 1883). This particular illustration was shown in Vol. 1.
The print is in very good condition

The last plate, plate 7, features 4 birds of prey and was first used in Naturgeschichte des Tierreichs by Heinrich von Schubert (Münich, 1886).
The plate offered differs from the book in the way that the names of the birds are not mentioned. It couldn’t be determined from which edition this plate was taken.
The condition of this chromolithographic plate (42x32 cm) is very good. Since it was originally a two-page picture, there is a fold in the middle (see photos)
