A mythical cellar, that of Chateau Musar has its roots in the cradle of Viticulture, in the Lebanese Bekaa Valley.
1998 and 2000 are both legendary vintages of Musar from the last 30 years.
The 1998 is a rather prototypical Musar - lots of acidity, some brett, fine structure.
It reveals a more gentle style on opening, but aeration proves how much underlying power it actually has (that is, a lot).
Both vintages were released by the Chateau in 2022, hence stored in perfect conditions.
Ready to enjoy now but can be stored for years.
