In this lot I offer one of the most attractive meteorites HED achondrite (diogenite) NWA 7831. In 2013 in the western Sahara area of Saguya el Hamra, locals found about 20 kg. a meteorite buried in the ground in the area of Chouichiyat. It is composed almost entirely of translucent, yellow-green orthopyroxene with very scarce, small included grains of non-Ni metal, troilite, chromite, anorthite, siliceous polymorph, and clinopyroxene. With its beauty and radiance, this is one of the must-have specimens for any home meteorite collection! Meteorite comes with box and certificate.
