Louis Poulsen PH 4/3

The PH4/3 pendant was launched in 1966. It is designed according to the same principle as the other 3-screen system. Poul Henningsen designed the 3-screen system already in 1925-1926, when PH in collaboration with Louis Poulsen designed the first lamps for an exhibition in Paris.

Throughout his life, PH sought to create glare-free light, direct the light where it was needed and create soft shadows. This lamp is a simplified model of a lamp that PH designed in 1929. The lamp then won the highest distinction at the World Exhibition in Barcelona. Over the years, the metal pendants have been produced in many different sizes and colours. The PH 4/3 series were the last lamps, designed by Poul Henningsen before his death in 1967.

Dimension: diameter 40 centimeter, High 20 centimeter, weight 1 kilo.

"It is my hope that the PH lamp will bring others the same joy as me when I see it reflected in my coffee cup". ( Poul Henningsen)

De lamp is niet compleet met orginele onderdelen. Verder is de porceleinen fitting stuk. Al met al niet hetgeen wat is voorgesteld.
